Memorial Day is a meaningful day of remembrance held sacred by our Day & Zimmermann Government Services Group, as we remain a patriotic organization that has served the U.S. National Security Mission for more than a century, in the U.S. and overseas.
This Memorial Day weekend, we honor all who have bravely fought and made the ultimate sacrifice to protect us and our freedom.
I recently read a perfectly declared meaning of Memorial Day:
“This is the day we pay homage to all those who didn’t come home. This is not Veterans Day, it’s not a celebration, it is a day of solemn contemplation over the cost of freedom,” by Tamra Bolton, writer and photographer.
With the current events in Ukraine, we are reminded daily of the cost of freedom and the freedoms we fight to protect.
Please join me in honoring our past protectors, as we carry forth their same driving convictions and values of patriotism, honor, duty, and integrity, in our missions to serve in the preservation of safety and freedom.
We honor all who have made the ultimate sacrifice in protecting what we cherish most, not just on Memorial Day, but every day.
Be safe and enjoy the weekend, but also please take some time to reflect on those who served and sacrificed.
