When the U.S. Embassy was moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, SOC was the security provider in place and answered the call to safeguard American personnel and property in the West Bank, Gaza, and throughout the area of operations.
SOC has provided security services, including mobile security, emergency response, protective security, and operations center support for this diplomatic mission on a 24/7/365 basis. Our primary mission is to ensure the personal protection and safety of U.S. Embassy personnel, property, and facilities in what is regarded as high-threat, high world focus, and extremely diplomatic sensitive environment. Jerusalem, one of the oldest cities in the world and rich in religious history, remains a highly contentious location, with a history of conflicts over land claims to religious territory, international borders, and possible peace deals.
SOC also provides threat research and analysis services (TRAS) and logistics services and support.
Our mobile security teams have performed countless missions, while supporting with the ancillary services needed to sustain operations, including housing; furnished office space; locally sourced health and medical care services; morale, welfare and recreation (MWR) support; armory and ammunition services; communications and IT services; skills sustainment training services; and clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE).
"Protection means moving 'outside the wire' so we can engage and influence. In that effort, nothing is more vital than colleagues like yours at SOC, who are, with your leadership, an essential instrument of the U.S. presence today."
