At the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) SOC led a team created specifically to set a new standard of protective force excellence. We applied our collective team experience to bring a fresh approach to sustain and strengthen all Nevada National Security Site Protective Force operations to ensure our Nation’s critical assets are safeguarded, regardless of the potential threat.
Through our foundation of strong core values and leadership, we maintained a strong position to defeat current and future security challenges. SOC safely managed the Protective Force contract at Nevada National Security Site. SOC successfully delivered safeguards and security protection operations, including protective force (PF) services, tactical training, physical security systems and technical security engineering, performance testing, human reliability program (HRP), Environmental Safety, Health, and Quality Assurance, resource management, labor relations, logistics support, and records management. Due to our superior Protective Force operations, for the Department of Energy, SOC was recognized with the Defense Programs Award of Excellence and the VPP Superior Star Award.
