This two-day summit is free and open to all interested military, federal and state agencies, businesses and employers looking to hire veterans, and other community leaders. The SOC recruiting team will be located at Pope Airfield [Pax Shed #3, Building W-1648 Hurst Drive], on Wednesday, August 13, 1:30pm – 4:00pm.
The summit will focus on developing strong veteran and transitioning service member hiring initiatives, answer questions about veteran hiring, and encourage participants to share their own company or community’s best practices with key government agencies and decision-makers.

About Hiring our Heroes
– The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Army’s Fort Bragg, Army Career and Alumni Program, Soldier for Life, Installation Management Command, and other partners have joined to provide this free career forum and jobs summit for service members, veterans, and military spouses on Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on August 12-13, 2014.
The summit will also feature seminars, roundtables, panel discussions, recruiter training, and facilitated conversations focused on improving competitive employment for service members and veterans.
