SOC is committed to the WPS mission and focus on the role of women in the stability industry and within stability projects. WPS certification is based on U.S. law and founded on common goals of inclusion and engagement of women across the globe, promoting stability, and supporting the mission-critical national security strategy of the United States.

ISOA's Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Certification Program is grounded in the October 2017 legislation entitled The Women, Peace, and Security Act which focuses on proactively integrating the needs and perspectives of women, and empowering women to contribute their talents and energies to international peace, security, and prosperity. Our WPS Certification Program, designed to train organizations in WPS principles and implementation, was developed with leading contributions by influential thought leaders and advocates from the U.S. government, academia, the NGO community, and our industry.
We encourage all ISOA member companies and interested organizations to participate in our WPS Certification Program. WPS will address historically underserved and underrepresented populations of women in fragile states to effect outcomes in support of U.S. national security and foreign policy objectives. By completing this program, we believe companies and professionals will become better partners to our government's critical missions as it works across the globe to stabilize fragile nation-states. Industry engagement is critical to the implementation of technical solutions that reflect WPS tenets and strategy and ultimately advance national security objectives overseas.
