Chantilly, Virginia (November 11, 2015) – SOC LLC (SOC), a Day & Zimmermann Company, is honoring their Veteran employees today through Veterans Day Dedication Receptions worldwide. SOC is a trusted global provider of integrated security, critical infrastructure, and mission support services around the world. The Company will be honoring nearly 600 SOC employees, currently working in the United States and abroad, who have previously served in the United States Armed Forces. Each employee will receive a Veteran pin dedicated in a formal address from SOC management and the Veterans Employee Resource Group accompanied by a letter from Day & Zimmermann CEO, Hal Yoh.
In an address to SOC employees, CEO Hal Yoh stated, “Every year on Veteran’s Day, we take to time to commend those who have served and honor the tremendous sacrifices they made to preserve our freedom - we thank them for their service.” He added, “We have a long history of providing mission-critical services to the U.S. Military. Our employee’s strong military experience brings a foundation of discipline and commitment to the mission that enables SOC and customers to be successful at what they do- supporting and protecting national security, here and abroad.”

Mr. Selfridge is the Executive Sponsor of the Company’s Veteran Employee Resource Group (VERG), which spearheaded the 2015 Veterans Day assemblies company-wide. The VERG works to reinforce the Company’s commitment to Veteran initiatives and community involvement on behalf of SOC and Day & Zimmermann, to enhance the participation of Veterans in the Company's growth and success. The company is an active partner with Veteran-focused charities and organizations in local communities and provides outreach to Veterans in transition to the civilian workforce, also by assisting deployed soldiers and their families.
